Concrete5 Studio made themes for concrete5 from 2010. The CMS grew up and changed its name; in 2026 we rebuilt the studio for Concrete CMS 9.
We build free themes for Concrete CMS 9, we keep a directory of the add-ons worth installing, and we write tutorials against current releases rather than whichever version was current when the post was written.
Everything is free. There is no paid tier and no upsell at the end of a tutorial. The commercial theme shop is retired.
The independent Concrete world thinned out badly between version 8 and version 9. Directories went offline, the marketplace relaunch cleared the old catalogue, and much of the writing you find has not been touched since the CMS was called concrete5. That leaves a small community with a good CMS and not much of a map.
